Ministerial Association Secretary

Dr. Ron Clouzet

Ron E. M. Clouzet, D.Min., Th.D. (ABD), obtained a B.A. in Ministerial Studies and French from La Sierra University (USA) in 1980. He received an M.Div. degree from Andrews University in 1985, and a Doctor of Ministry degree (D.Min.) from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1997. He did post-doctoral work for a Th.D. degree in Systematic Theology at the University of South Africa.

Dr. Clouzet began service for the church as a pastor in California, USA. He pastored for 13 years. Then, he became a professor of practical theology at Southern Adventist University, in the USA, and also served as Dean of the School of Religion there, from 2000 to 2006. During his leadership, the school's Pierson Institute for Evangelism and World Missions trained hundreds of university students who led over 5,000 people to baptism.

In 2007, he became the Ministerial Association Secretary for the North American Division, as well as the Director of the NAD Evangelism Institute. He continued in that last post until 2016. During that time, he was the speaker for the NET11 Satellite effort that involved 700 churches and led some 8,000 souls to baptism.

In 2015, he was elected Ministerial Association Secretary for the NSD, and he began his responsibilities in the spring of 2016.

Dr. Clouzet, and his wife, Dr. Lisa Clouzet, have three adult children living in the USA.

Brian McMahon

Brian McMahon has had the privilege to minister to tens of thousands of people around the world of many backgrounds and faiths. Brian, an ordained minister, preaches with conviction, sincerity, clarity and compassion.

Brian’s seminars are well known for being among the very best for thoroughness and Christ-centeredness. His background has been beneficial in enabling him to communicate with and befriend those of other backgrounds and faiths.

He has had the opportunity to present seminars in a vast array of venues and on multiple occasions in a correctional facility.

Brian’s wife, Heidi, shares her love for Jesus through music. She first began singing at the age of 3 with her father and sister, and continues to minister along side her husband. Having dedicated their lives to ministry, both Brian and Heidi share an enthusiasm for helping people find joy in Christ and true happiness through the gospel. The McMahon’s have two daughters, Kara and Kelly.

Jac Colón

Jac Colón has over 40 years of experience in public evangelism as a former pastor, administrator, full time evangelist at the conference and union level and professor for Andrews University Seminary Ninth Quarter program. He held evangelistic meetings and field schools of evangelism around the globe. He wrote a manual called “Persuasive Influence Without Undue Pressure” for his training programs. His “Revelation Now” evangelistic program has been a popular series on Three Angels Broadcasting Network for 15 years.

Jac is recognized for making the messages Gospel oriented, clear, and easy to understand. In addition, he developed “Track’em for Jesus,” a powerful and popular computerized interest tracking program used by over 200 Adventist pastors and evangelists. Jac also developed and used a lay visitation training program.

Dan Serns

Dan Serns has travelled the world teaching and preaching about Jesus, Bible truth and God’s final movement on earth. He is able to make complex Bible subjects clear, understandable and practical and mobilize people in God’s mission. Wherever he goes there is renewal, revival and numerical multiplication of God’s kingdom. He serves as Evangelism Coordinator for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He has been published in numerous magazines, including Ministry Magazine and Adventist Review. He and his wife Lois have raised three children who are currently serving the Lord in Texas, Washington & California.

Larry Witzel

Larry Witzel, Founder and President of SermonView Evangelism Marketing, is a respected innovator with a passion for harnessing technology for ministry. After briefly serving in a local church, Larry has spent over 25 years in marketing and public relations, at both commercial enterprises and denominational entities. Larry has a BA in theology and mass media from Walla Walla University, and an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. He is an elder and musician at his local church and serves on the Oregon Conference Executive Committee.

Roger Walter

Roger Walter is the Lead Pastor of the Adventist Community Church in Vancouver (the host of EvangeLead) as well as the Outreach Director for the Oregon Conference. He is also the brain-child of the EvangeLead Conference. His book, “Evangelism Intelligence: Why Adventist Churches Grow Differently” came out in 2018 and has already been read by over 1000 people. Multiple conferences have purchased copies for every pastor. His churches have been a consistent growth model for other churches. Roger and his wife, Gail, live in La Center, WA and have 8 kids and one son-in-law. They love rock climbing, backpacking, hiking, gardening, and raising dogs.

Dustin Serns

Dustin Serns currently serves as Pastor in Port Orchard, WA where he has seen Jesus working in amazing ways to bring rapid growth in spirituality, baptisms, attendance, young adults and community impact. He has served as a senior pastor, youth pastor, missionary in Cambodia, and started a youth-led church as an academy student. His articles on evangelism, church planting, and activating young adults have been published in Adventist Review, Ministry Magazine and NAD Ministerial Best Practices. His wife Caitlin, 3-year-old daughter and newborn son bring him tremendous joy.

Scott Tyman

Scott Tyman for the last fourteen years has been the Lead Pastor at Tacoma Central Seventh-day Adventist Church and an Air Force Chaplain at Joint Base Lewis/McChord. He loves train his members to be gospel workers by conducting soul winning classes.  He yearly conducts Prophecy Seminars and Evangelistic series.  He facilitates Soul Winning Workshops at Camp Meetings. Scott received his Associates of Arts Degree at the Crosier Seminary, his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education at the St. Cloud State University and his Master of Divinity Degree at the St. Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Scott lives in Bonney Lake, Washington, with his wife Evelyn and their three adult children Isaac, Anna and Joshua, and have recently been blessed with their new daughter-in-law, Allie.

Danny Kim

Danny Kim has been the evangelism and Outreach Pastor for the Adventist Community Church in Vancouver, WA for almost 10 years now. He has preached many of the 2 series a year the church does, and has supported many of the other speakers and arranged for the details. Danny is married to Esther and has two children Lauren and Marcus. Danny is dedicated and passionate about reaching people for the kingdom.

Harry Rogers

Harry Rogers spent 20 years as a teacher and 20 in construction. He's spent more than the last decade in ministry and discovered that evangelism really does still work. As such, he's been one of the top soul-winners in the Michigan Conference and is continuing to reach people for the Kingdom. He's been married to Ingrid for over 50 years. Harry's passions are relationships and seeing people find the Lord.
